Does marriage effect whether or not someone receives a Social Security Disability check?

If she is getting Social Security disability, the type based on her past earnings, your income and ets won't affect it. (I am not sure if it would impact the insurance). If she is drawing SSI, the disability for people who have not earned enough credits for regular disability, your income and resources WILL be taken into account to determine whether she is still eligible for the program. If she is not sure which type she is getting, just check with the social security office.
