Does this mean i have a cell phone plan now?

i got a thing in the mail for a credit check and it went though it says i have to put a deposit for 400$ does this mean i have have this plan now or is it just a credit check? i went to verizon wireless and ask for a credit check but did not sumit and credit card number in it or anything and did not do all the steps to go though with the whole thing. i hope i don't have a 400$ cell phone bill i just wanted to see how much it was. WHAT SHOULD I DO? MY B/f is piss off at me i want to make sure i don't have a nother cell phone plan that i don't want or need.
